Dear readers,
I’m happy to say that I’m settling into a rhythm here at Notes from the Dishwasher Cafe, and I can now offer you some options.
If you like the sound of getting access to roughly one essay per month, you don’t need to do anything.
If, however, you have enjoyed getting roughly 4 essays per month, and want to continue having access to all of the essays I write, you can now subscribe for $6/month, $60/year, or become a Founding Member (and get either a signed copy of my poetry book or a preview of my novel-in-progress— just LMK). [Founding Members have the option to sign up at the suggested amount OR input their own once the radio-button is pressed.]
In any of these cases, you do need to take a quick action (“weal quick”, as my son says), so visit my substack page using the button below now to see your options and make a choice.
If you can’t decide or would like to wait and see, don’t worry— everyone will still receive roughly one essay per month.
But to get next week’s post (and most future ones), you’ll need to become some type of paid subscriber.
Future essay topics include, but aren’t limited to, toddlers & tractors, ultramarathons & birds, books & writing, and, of course, assorted instructive failures & small victories on all fronts, from cherry tomatoes to finish lines.
I work hard to write only what I have genuine questions about, as a way to survive and thrive, and I hope my compulsive meaning-making can help you be more buoyant & resilient in your life, too.
Paid subscribers will also get occasional audiobook and book recommendations & reviews.
Who knows, at some point, I may even bust out some Dishwasher Cafe swag. (I ran my first half marathon almost entirely for the shirt.) So if swag is your thing, and/or you have design ideas to help our estimable cafe swagger forth, let me know, and I’ll seriously consider it.
Thank you for keeping me writing,
Caroline
