Shop of work
Readers,
The most work gets done when play is involved.
and I are offering a 90-minute workshop on revision 5/1 (that’s Monday!), and we don’t do anything unless it’s fun (or we absolutely have to), and we think you might enjoy escaping your day-to-day whatevers and joining us.We’re going to dig up anything and everything we think will help you come to a useful, freeing, enjoyable re-visioning of your work. *Please note: “your work” might mean that novel that’s been in the back of your head/drawer for a thousand years, a short essay for that life-story-in-installments subscription your daughter-in-law forced on you in the guise of a gift, a eulogy, a story you keep trying to write, a dissertation, a love letter… anything that is words, and you care about, we want to help you tend to as you would a garden: with a variety of tools and supplies.
Besides, here are some puppets talking about it:
OK, see you with the usual transmission tomorrow. In the meantime, consider allowing yourself to look at some words that are part of your life in new ways. We, personally, find it pretty fun. Seriously.
